For participation in the competitions organized for children’s magazine ‘The Marshmallow’, entrants under 18 years of age or as specified in the contest must have permission to enter the competition from a parent or guardian who will be required to agree to these rules before entering into the competition.

·       For participation in the online surveys conducted by RIEDU for research purpose, entrants under 18 years of age must have permission to enter the competition from a parent or guardian who will be required to agree to these rules before entering into the competition, by way of a check-box on the online submission form.

·       RIEDU reserves the right to ask for proof of permission.

·       Privacy Policy of RIEDU is on the Website. Entrants (contests & survey) will be deemed to have accepted the Privacy Policy and be bound by them. These also include the rules regarding intellectual property that after submission of your entry you will not own any copyright or other IPR in the entry (story, poem, and painting), article or note or write up sent to RIEDU. All entries will be the property of RIEDU once submitted and RIEDU holds the copyright, to be used as and when required in any form or with modification. The participant will be intimated as and when his article, write up or poem or painting etc. is likely to be used in any manner whatsoever,  however, the story or poem shall always bear the name of the contributor or poet or story writer, as the case may be.
Any questions concerning the Rules or the Competition may be directed to

·       One does not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material.

·       While using the write up of the entrant, you may not

(a) state or imply that RIEDU is endorsing you, your viewpoints or

(b) Represent that you have a relationship with RIEDU or any of the events, products or

(c) have any right to any of the services that RIEDU may provide unless that relationship is the subject of a written agreement between you and RIEDU.

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents of the website of RIEDU in any form is prohibited other than the following:

  • you may print or download to a local hard disk extract for your personal and non-commercial use only
  • you may copy the content to individual third parties for their personal use, but only if you acknowledge the website as the source of the material
  • You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

·       Unless otherwise noted, the Services are controlled and operated from the RIEDU’s New Delhi office. By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement which is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

·       All activity occurring in connection with the website (including, but not limited to, accessing pages, downloading materials, etc.) is presumed to occur in Delhi.

·       Subject to arbitration clause below, in connection with any suit, action or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Delhi.

·       The Parties shall endeavor to resolve any dispute or difference amicably through joint negotiation. If any dispute or difference, which cannot be mutually resolved by the parties, the same shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the provisions contained in Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue of the arbitration shall be at New Delhi, India.

·       The Courts at Delhi shall have sole jurisdiction in the matter.


·     RIEDU publication contents do not, by any means, claim to be accurate and appropriate at all times. Viewers and the visitors to our magazine/ newsletter/ website are advised to put their discretion into effect while making a judgement for the information which is displayed on the website.
